All you need to know about Craker Livery, Lower Salden Farm

 Who are we?

A family run DIY livery yard a few miles outside Milton Keynes

What do we offer?

Quiet rural setting with CCTV security and owners on site.  Access to jumping, lunging, dressage and hacking

Why Lower Salden?

All year round grazing turnout, with jumping, dressage, lunging and hacking available
The farm has been in our family since 1959, the livery started over 30 years ago. Quentin and Christine took over the farm in 2009 and have been continually improving and updating the facilities ever since, including a 60m x 20m floodlit riding arena, car parking facilities, additional hard standing for lorries and trailers and larger individual storage areas.
There is a tea room and toilet facility, automatic water troughs in nearly all fields, an indoor farrier / vet inspection area as well as outside tie-up areas

There are many off road hacking opportunities that area accessible direct from the farm. We also have a jumping / schooling paddock and a sand school suitable for lunging.
We are a family friendly business, welcoming all ages and, providing there is enough interest and help, we do organise events like clear-round jumping, Easter Egg Hunts and mini shows for our liveries.

Our fields are well managed and we have ample acreage per horse, therefore the animals are usually very content, which is also helped by the traditional buildings that offer well-ventilated, spacious stabling.
